Prager, Case

I am broadly interested in the ecological consequences of declining biological diversity, and how multiple dimensions of diversity drive ecosystem-level processes, such as carbon cycling.  I examine these relationships in the Arctic where rapid warming is leading to significant shifts in the structure and functioning of communities and ecosystems.  I am co-advised by Kevin Griffin and Shahid Naeem, and my committee members are Natalie Boelman (Lamont-Doherty), Duncan Menge (Columbia University) and Lee Vierling (UIdaho).
